Youth-High School
I was a member of National Honor Society throughout my high school career. In my past, I have held many leadership positions and was known for having great parties.
Senior Project. For my senior project, I successfully planned and organized an event called “An Old-Fashioned Christmas" which was a dinner and a show banquet celebration as a fundraiser for my high school music program. I coordinated the entire activity with chefs, office works, teachers, and students. I wrote the menu with the chefs, designed the room layout with my mentor, made decorations from scratch, wrote the script, designed costuming, spent over 40 hours working with my mentor in a two month period, attended a three hour dress rehearsal, worked the set up and takedown of the event for both production nights, and I hosted the event.

College
While as a sophomore in college and attending BYU-Idaho, I had the opportunity to work as an event manager on campus through BYU-Idaho's Social Activities program. Within seven weeks, my team and I (4 of us) were able to create an event on campus and carry it out. The night of the Modern Sock Hop Dance was a success. We had catering from the School bakery and from Kiwi Loco. We had a great DJ and amazing lights that changed as they followed the music beat. We had bean bag seating so that it was fun and comfortable for all those who wanted to sit and visit while catching their breath before the next song. We also had "Shoe Valet Parking" that the guests really enjoyed because they were able to turn in their shoes and belonging into a secure area and know that their belongings were safe while they were having a good time. The night was a true success! I have attached the video that my team of managers and I had made about our event. Our videographer, Rex Warner, was amazing at capturing the feel of the dance and doing interviews, as well as putting together our video. Thanks Rex! |
Valentine's Masquerade BallI was the Manager for the BYU-Idaho Valentine's Day Masquerade Ball on campus during Winter Semester 2014. This is the first time that a masquerade ball was held on campus during Winter Semester. I was a junior in college running this event.
